We placed an on-line order for some much-needed patio furniture on the Saturday before Easter. Received shipping confirmation on Tuesday, and had everything in place by Friday. Got just what we wanted. Good quality for the price, and it looks great. Would definitely shop at this store again.

Really great online shopping experience. The online team were excellent with communication abd arranging delivery to a rural town that was quick and very reasonably priced. Absolutely love my new outdoor lounge/ dining set. Really stylish and so comfy. Would definitely shop here again in future.

Cheap product and terrible service.Purchased a dining set late November and was delivered early December. Since this time we have not had a full set of chairs in a useable condition use due to the welds on the legs being weak and folding causing the chairs to collapse.(3 out of the 6 chairs so far)Not to mention one chair was extremely scratched on delivery.Apparently after 7 days the store is no longer able to help and you must go through an arduous process of submitting a claim online to which you are told you’ll have a response within 14 working days.Such an extended period of time for an outcome, maybe because of the volume of complaints you have?Customer care did arrange for the first chair to be replaced although I have sent multiple emails over a 4 week period in regards to the others with no response.Not only are the chairs not fit for purpose they are dangerous.I’ve requested a complete change over of style as I have zero faith in how stable they are and don’t wish for another person to have chair collapse underneath them.There is a very common theme in most your reviews ‘how terrible your customer service is and how rude your in store staff are.’There is a common denominator here.Once they have your money, they don’t care.

You need to clearly dress to impress here because all we got were judgemental stares and very little help given. Specifically the male middle aged salesmen.We spent almost $3000 on a setting and umbrella - now looking at the reviews not too hopeful about what will arrive.Update: From what we can see, nothing is damaged and the setting looks nice where we have it set up.

The moment we walked into the Segals showroom we were impressed by the rangeWe spoke to Steve a team member who was extremely helpful and was knowledgeable about the productsHis advice helped us choose the right settings for usWe spent more than originally planned but we are satisfied the extra spend on better quality is an investment for longevityWe met Greg who is an owner and we chatted about the quality of his stockWe had looked around both online and other stores and Segals is great quality for reasonable pricing. We have always purchased furniture from Segals though our recent experience , has been appalling. Please do not be attracted to their low prices .The first table we unpacked had a deep scratch in the teak wood.We submitted an online request which we were offered either a $30 discount , exchange to a floor display or could transfer a new table . I was told if I just got some sand paper I could sand it back !They organised a new table and this one was even worse ! Missing corners and dents in the frame work and table top was blotchy and looked like a return product .I then called the store to tell them and ask them if I could just purchase my old table back so I could try to piece together a semi perfect table . The girl on the phone was very rude and said she can’t check with the warehouse at the back of her store and don’t handle complaints in store or on phone and have to lodge an online request / complaint .I then did this to be told the table is acceptable and the scratches and blot marks and stains are common with teak.I then clarified , that you’re not understanding me I just want to purchase my old table back to witch they replied they don’t sell individual tables .When I returned my original scratched table top back to the warehouse , I noticed they were wrapping it perfectly back into the box that they took my replacement table from, ready to give to the next consumer as a new product.What was even more concerning us there were 2 other customers also returning damaged stock. Please pay a little extra and go to a reputable company.Please do not purchase from segals . Do your homework , look at product review. I honestly wish we did.We were planning on purchasing more settings but now looking elsewhere after our experience .

Quality product and fast delivery. Assembly of the table was straight forward except the welding in the corners of the table frame where the legs fit stopped the brackets from fitting snugly. This is a design issue that should be reported to the manufacturer.

Bought nearly $3000 worth of furniture and paid on the spot.Furniture got delivered to my house damaged and packed in squashed boxes. Questioned customer service to come and completely exchanged all boxes, to which they refused. Under pure frustration I unpacked all boxes and assembled furniture.Replacement furniture got delivered and one piece wrong. Even after questioning the store manager at Osbourne Park showroom about mix and matching furniture pieces due to variety of colour incompatibility, I was assured this wouldn’t be the case.Go my other piece of furniture delivered today and the timber colouring is different. On going issue for 4 weeks now. Same old customer service email no consideration or even a phone call.Good business practice from a family that prides itself in quality and customer service.Never will I purchase any furniture from this company again

Spent nearly $3000 on furniture plus $100 on delivery.When our furniture arrived all the boxes were really badly damaged as was the furniture inside also. Our chairs were marked, which we tried to clean but no good. We had to cancel family lunch due to no outdoor furniture, and even after contacting customer service and filling in an online report, after 48hrs we still have not had a response. Very disappointed in the quality assurance and control from their warehouse and especially customer services both online and the Osbourne Park showroom.

Read the fine print in store, online and in all documents. Buyer beware. We did not see the fine print statement in-store about “imperfections” (aka defective manufacturing and shipping damage) and staff did not alert us to it before taking our money. One could be mistaken for thinking such a message referred to display stock. Nope, the brand new items were defective. If selling known seconds, why is the display stock perfect? The message should have read: ‘scratch and dent sale, purchaser assumes all risk and accepts the product in any condition whatsoever. You waive all rights; there is no warranty’. (After several argumentative emails we were able to swap the worst six (of 10) chairs for decent floor stock).EDIT: Segals reply verifies they don’t understand the issue - they know they are selling damaged goods, but failed to make it obvious and clear to the consumer. If the discount is being offered due to poor quality, say so. We had no idea. If it is a ‘scratch and dent’ sale, then display furniture that represents the faults/quality, or sell floor stock as is.
